The purpose of this survey is to collect information about Montana agritourism. We value your input, whether you operate a farmstand, offer u-pick services, provide overnight stays, host tastings, organize events, participate in community-supported agriculture (CSA), conduct tours, offer hunting opportunities, or engage visitors in any other way!
This statewide research initiative is led by the
Institute for Tourism and Recreation Research (ITRR) at the University of Montana. Survey results will contribute to a public report and additional presentations and publications aimed at understanding agritourism in the state and enhancing the success of those involved in direct sales, education, recreation, entertainment, hospitality, and various forms of agritourism.
All responses are confidential, and no personal information will be disclosed, unless you choose to participate in a follow up interview, in which case you can choose to link your survey responses (see option at the end). Your participation is voluntary, and you can discontinue the survey at any point. If you have any questions about the survey, please reach out to Glenna Brown at glenna.brown@umontana.edu. For inquiries regarding your rights as a participant in a research project, you can contact the Institutional Research Protections Office at the University of Montana at IRB@umontana.edu or (406) 243-6670.
