UMAA Bookshelf
UM's reimagined bookshelf program invites authors to submit their works online across non-fiction, fiction and poetry on a webpage hosted by the UM Alumni Association. Eligible books will be highlighted on the UMAA Goodreads Bookshelf. Periodically, UMAA will also select a “Griz Pick” for our audiences — the chosen book could be included in the Alumni Book Club and/or featured across UMAA's social platforms.
The criteria for submission include:
-
Authors must have a tangible connection to UM.
-
The work cannot be self-published and must be publicly available for purchase.
-
A hard copy for inclusion on the Alumni Bookshelf in Brantly Hall is encouraged but not required.
-
Bookshelf is not a traditional library that archives works. Rather, it is a promotional platform to share the published works of UM-affiliated authors.
