2025 Cultural Host Application

Thank you for your interest in hosting participants in the Mansfield Center's international exchange programs. This is a unique opportunity to establish friendships across the world.

Every year, the Mansfield Center brings over one hundred international participants to Missoula for educational and cultural exchange programs sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. Homestay/Cultural hosts provide these visitors with a unique Montana experience and engage them in community while also learning about different perspectives and ways of life. Being a hospitality host is truly a two-way exchange. We encourage a diversity of families and individuals to host, and share regular day-to-day life and routines. We offer one-to-two-day, weekend, and month-long hosting opportunities.

The below form provides us with preliminary information about you and your family. We use this information to match potential hosts with international guests.

We host a variety of international exchange programs in the spring, summer and fall. Are you interested in hosting for a specific program or during a particular timeframe/season?

We offer one day, weekend, and month-long hosting opportunities. Please select which opportunities you are interested in hosting for:

If you've selected two- to four-week homestays as your availability or preference, we will follow up by email for photos you might share of the available room, house/apartment, and host/family for our participant-host introduction.
